Cigar of the Month (May 2008)
Since I spoiled you guys earlier this week with an Audio Review. Tonight’s Cigar of the Month is going to be written. =)

It’s the first of May and I hope you’re ready for another Cigar Of The Month. Tonight, I will be recommending a really good mild to medium smoke that is made in La Aurora factory in the Dominican Republic. That cigar is . . . .

LEON JIMENES
The Leon Jimenes comes in a Connecticut Shade wrapper with the binder and filler both from the Dominican Republic. Cigars from the Dominican Republic are known for being mild and smooth, but when you add a Connecticut Shade wrapper it will add a nice balance, strength and a wonderful aroma.
Through out the cigar you are going to find a balance of creaminess, coconut, a small touch of pepper and light wood. Ive smoked a couple of these and I find them to be even better when you smoke it slow and with some light coffee with the right amount of sugar.
Quality is a big thing with me and I would never recommend anything to you guys that wasn’t top notch. The Leon Jimenes has an outstanding burn, draw and a great looking ash. For the “smoke it to nub” people, you’ll love this cigar because it doesn’t heat up quick and you can smoke it as far as you would like.
I really enjoy this cigar and I hope you do too. It’s way different from the cigar I recommend last month, but just as good in its on way. With so many different great cigars out there we need to get out of our little bubbles and explore the world a little bit. Just because you are a full body smoker, does not mean you will not find a mild cigar you can enjoy.
I was extremely happy with the feedback from last month and I hope you guys are able to find this cigar and give it a smoke. Leave me a comment, write me an e-mail or “tweet me” on Twitter to let me know your thoughts on the cigar. Maybe you’ll disagree with me and that’s fine, but maybe I will help you find your new favorite smoke ….. just maybe.
