The Grading System
The rating system that I will be using is a “Grading System”. The best grade a cigar can receive is an “A” and the worse grade a cigar can receive is an “F”. This rating system is easy to understand, straight to the point and something we are all familiar with.
You may be asking yourself, “Well, how do you determine which grade a cigar receives? “. Good question! I have my own personal point system, in which I review everything about the cigar. And i mean EVERYTHING! From the look of the cigar to the aroma and every little thing in between. We pay a lot of money for cigars and they better be worth each penny. Am i wrong?
Here are the basic meaning to every letter grade.
A: This stogie is the best of the best! Anything you can think of, this stogie has it. If you see an “A” on a cigar, it’ll be a special one. A special occasion cigar that should be treated for what it is, special!
B: This cigar is almost perfect. Everything was great except for a few minor things. This cigar should definitely be in your humidor. It’s a stogie worth the price, time and smoke. A must try.
C: It’s a good cigar, but nothing to get all crazy about. This cigar only has one or two good things going. It’s a good cigar, but nothing that will make you go back and get another one.
D: This cigar has no personality and nothing exciting to talk about. Just a regular plain boring cigar. A cigar you feel stupid for paying for and wished you would have gotten for free. A cigar that you wont remember smoking and wont smoke again.
F: This is a cigar you throw across the street, hope a car runs over it, sweep it with a broom, on to a plastic bag, write a note to the maker saying “What the hell is this?”, tie it to a balloon string and send it off hoping he receives it! It shouldn’t even be in the market! You don’t even want to look at it! …. You get it, right?
